Horton Plains & Great World’s End Drop
A scenic route to Horton Plains National Park from Haputale through beautiful Ohiya slopes. (With possible viewing of sunrise from Haputale)
Unveiling the Journey
- Leave the glenrock at 5 am.
- Drive on a winding uphill road through jungles.
- Reach Horton Plains car park around 7:30 am, and take a walk to the Great World’s End Drop (approx. 3.5-hour walk of 7.6km).
- On the way back view the Baker’s Falls. 67km one way to Horton Plains car park.
- Travel time: 2.5 hours one way Arrive back at the glenrock around 2 pm.
